Emily is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Prior to earning her Master of Science in Nursing with PMHNP option at the University of Colorado – Colorado Springs, Emily worked as a registered nurse for 12 years in a variety of areas including the intensive care unit, recovery room, and as a transplant coordinator. Emily received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from George Mason University. Before pursuing her passion in the medical field, Emily received her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Virginia Tech University and worked in the DC area as an accountant for 5 years. Emily loves hiking and traveling but is staying home with her fiancé more often while they raise their new baby girl and puppy.
